This place exists to bring death to the deserving, to thin the herds and fight off the intruders. That was our intention. It is also where we sometimes leave our baked goods.

The mineshaft below Blackway.
The village of Blackway is above a deep running ancient mineshaft, but it has gone some time without discovery because the access route is through the woods rather than the ruins. The mines are dark and dangerous, now void of the lighting they once had, and are not only a refuge for spiders (both the larger terestrial versions and the slightly smaller cave variety) and silverfish, but now seem to contain creepers. Anyone coming across this mineshaft should be very cautious.
One of the dilapidated rooms is covered in moss, damp, and unpleasant. There is a chest inside containing simple items such as three loafs of strangely well-preserved bread, three sets of seeds (one of them being a rare type of melon rarely found in the wild), a "bone" from one of the calcified skeletal androids, and a a pair of goggles that go to the crypt's brave explorer. These goggles switch between ultraviolet and infrared.
In the center of the room is a spawner with a glowing mechanism in the center that flickers, and seems to be surrounded in a thick protective grill (similar to wrought iron). This room is located directly below the the docks on the map.
More information on its discovery will be forthcoming.
